This month we have Beth Benevides coming to speak to the group about advocacy. Beth is the director of outreach at the Hussman Institute for Autism and is a longtime policy and educational advocate for individuals with autism and their families. In addition to serving on several statewide advisory councils and commissions devoted to developmental disabilities, Beth is a certified special education advocate. She brings her passion as a parent of a young adult son with autism to her work.
