Hi, my name is Tenesha. I have a background in healthcare; I’ve been a physical therapist assistant for 9 years working in Skilled nursing facilities and now I work in Home Health. I am the mom of a smart, amazing, silly, young gent named Beanie. My kiddo was diagnosed with Autism at 2 years old. Ever since then, I have tried my best to educate myself on resources and learn to help him navigate this world to reach his fullest potential. As we know, services and resources on the Eastern Shore are very limited. I hope as the outreach coordinator for Dorchester County, I can help bring resources, social groups, education, and acceptance of Autistic individuals to our community. I also hope to be able to help families navigate this journey and advocate for inclusion.
